13 - Pet Dog

Hi There (Name of Pet)!

Merry Christmas and Ho, Ho, Ho! I see that you are on my list of nice doggies this year. Good job! I know it’s hard for my furry friends to stay out of mischief sometimes, but I also know we all like to have fun from time to time. I just want to let you know I am looking forward to visiting you this year.

Everyone at the North Pole has been working so hard to get ready for Christmas eve. The elves are busy in the toy workshop making toys for everyone, and my reindeer help the elves try out all the Christmas toys for my furry friends. Dasher and Dancer are very good at testing out toys especially bouncy balls. Mrs. Claus and Sugarplum Mary bake all the special doggie treats that go in your stocking. Rudolph helps them out by tasting each special treat to make sure it’s good to eat.

(Name of Pet), I need to ask you for a few favors. First of all, if you see some milk and cookies sitting out by the tree, please don’t eat them; they are for me! I get so hungry flying all over the world. Also, if you hear some banging around on the roof and some sleigh bells jingling, please don’t bark. It’s just me and the reindeer. If you wake up your family, I won’t be able to come in and deliver the presents. Last of all, be a good sport if (Pet Owner’s Name) wants to dress you up in a holiday outfit. I know pretend antlers feel weird, and funny sweaters are hot and uncomfortable, but they make you look so cute. (Pet Owners Name) will have fun dressing you up and taking your picture. Ho, Ho, Ho!

(Pet’s Name), I am going to have some presents and treats in my sack for you, so be sure (Pet Owner’s Name) hangs up your stocking so I have somewhere to put these great gifts. I do hope you like doggie treats because Mrs. Claus is baking a fresh batch just for you.

Keep being a good doggie and take care of (Pet Owner’s Name) and your entire family. I will see you Christmas eve when I deliver all the toys for (Pet Owner’s Name). I will tell you a little secret; I will share my cookies with you! See you soon.

Love,
Santa
